I just received one of those postcards from the city that allows residents to comment on a proposed business that has requested a license as well as time and place of the public hearing. Trader Joe's is proposing a 14000 sq. ft. store in the Centennial shopping center just west of I95 on Ann Rd. This is the center where Fresh and Easy recently closed. I sent the postcard back In Favor of the proposal and certainly think most would like to have a Trader Joe's in that location. Just wanted to pass this info along, in case you haven't heard.

WooHoo! Great spot for it. I keep hoping something happens with the closed Fresh & Easy by me off of Buffalo. I don't know what else could go in there though.

That sounds great. I am an ex Californian and addicted to Trader Joe's. Unfortunately, I am in North Las Vegas where there are no Trader Joe's so I have a 25 minute drive to the closest one. This location would be somewhat closer and an easier drive.

The Fresh and Easy location at Decatur and Ann is being renovated and they have added some red trim. Trader Joe's has red in their logo. Wondering if TJ could be opening there?

I believe the Fresh & Easy store is much larger than the Trader Joe's on Washington and Buffalo if that helps. Which means there will be more products. I don't know if they'll utilize all the space however. The Trader Joe's in Downtown Summerlin is also larger and they have way more products there. I really wish the one on Washington and Buffalo was bigger. I love my Trader Joe's however.
