No matter how cold in winter, I look outside, if clouds in the sky, I won't need to dress so warm, I can go out to the garage, do crossword puzzles at 2am, and I don't need the heater on or, tonite, not even a coat. Clouds in the sky are like having a blanket over the city, and how I wish we had clouds in the sky every night in winter!

Now, summer time comes, we don't certainly don't need that "blanket" in the sky, it just adds to the misery.

I recall, even back in Minnesota, 32 at night, a cloudy sky, and it was comfortable, with the proviso, no winds!

Temperatures are so deceptive, but too many put too much weight on them.

But then, I'm a nightshifter, up all night, taking bike rides early morning hours, or walking my ferret, so, naturally, I'd appreciate cloudy nights more than others in winter.

It's been raining a lot lately. When I heard the sound and looked outside I starred at the cloud coverage in wonder and questioned if it was raining and if those were rain clouds. As if I'd forgotten what rain looked and sounded like. It's been so long.

And when I went outside and the ground was wet all around I questioned if it was from the rain or just the sprinkler system. My mind couldn't make up if it did really rain or not. I was having a real experience there. It wasn't until I was talking to other people and we felt some rain drops that we both looked at each other and they asked me with skeptical doubts if it was raining. That's when I knew I wasn't alone in what I was experiencing. LOL

What is this thing called rain?

Not a fan of gloomy weather although sometimes it allows spectacular sunsets. Much prefer this to the cold we've been having tho!

So comfortable. Went shopping today wearing a short sleeved shirt. Perfect weather.

It's tough to find short sleeved shirts this time of year.

You obviously don't shop for short sleeve shirts. I don't buy shorts over the internet.
