They said the guy in critical condition at the hospital was actually in the hotel room earlier this month and called for an ambulance on Feb. 14. He's been in the hospital ever since. LVPD indicated the guy in the hospital may know the guy who found the ricin yesterday; they're not sure if the two men are friends or family.

But incidents like this do tend to bring to light the fragility of a one-industry town. I've always said that the amount of people in LV (especially The Strip) at any one time would be a dream hit for terrorists. The last thing that LV needs is for tourists to feel unsafe about going there. LV goes as the tourism does.
