I would like to plant grass or use sod after removal (of rocks), and there seems to be a nice level layer of soil suitable for grass since the previous owners did have grass

A potentially huge issue is removing all or most of the rock landscaping from the backyard and transporting it to the front yard. The pool pump is an obstruction on the side of the house which effectively eliminates using a wheelbarrow

Any ideas? Are there potato sacks or anything similar I can fill and carry. Yes it will take me an eternity, but I can't think of anything else

Know anyone that works in a grocery store and could loan a couple of these?

With enough space you could run them next to or over the pump. Boxes full of rock with some way to keep them on the track.

There are narrow wheelbarrows available.

hahaha... interesting idea, i would save on electricity, and chlorine cost too and no need for wheelbarrow... unfortunately, i don't plan on living here forever and would be easier to sell with a pool

no one ever uses their pool that much (ok, maybe 1%)

i like the idea of buckets and maybe a narrow wheelbarrow, i think it will have to be buckets though

roller conveyors can be rented. Haif a dozen places around town. One can also easily make a pool pump movable. Couple of well placed unions and an electric plug and you can move the pool pump in 3 or 4 minutes. Now if it is the enclousr? That would be worse but you cab simply remove it for the duration.

Once saw a 75 year old body builder female clear out her back yard. It was scary though she did use a wheelbarrow. She also ran most of the way. Find someone similary weird and let them do their thing.
