Here's the link you're looking for. Nevada Senate passes bill that would allow pot smoking in some public places - KTNV.com Las Vegas

I'd talked about it on here recently in a thread that I heard a story on KNPR about how they're going to make it feasible in some public places similar to serving alcohol. It was a side note though.

I'm not sure if this is the story I heard or not but it's the most recent one. https://knpr.org/knpr/2017-04/weed-n...-editor-weighs

I recall they mentioned creating a 'cannabis corridor' in the downtown area targeting tourists where several of the dispensaries are located that people could go and participate in like visiting a coffee shop or bar but for weed.

There is also "Puff, Pass, Paint" in Las Vegas now being held at people's houses. It's similar to the drink wine and paint classes. http://puffpassandpaint.com/find-a-class/

How about on the Strip which is much nicer? It should be available there as well.

From what I understand they can't provide it there because it is nearly all hotel casinos and they would lose their gaming license as it is still federally illegal and they're not going to risk that. Perhaps in structures off Strip and near there such as on Industrial road, but that wasn't brought up.

Downtown has hotel casinos here and there but also mixed with facilities that don't have gaming and could easily provide it.

However, the section they're proposing the cannabis corridor on isn't the Fremont street experience but is adjacent to it. In individual facilities near the dispensaries with indoor outdoor areas on the properties to facilitate in it.

Just the general downtown area. They suggested it would be a draw to their area that the Strip can not provide tourists.

No casino is going to risk problems with the feds.
I also do not see the state gaming board allowing them to have such a thing as it would invite ( give an excuse to ) the Feds to get involved with the state gaming issue and they SURE do not want that!
you may see some spots open up just off the strip.
Actually, I guess "technically" there is a dispensary on the strip, it's right across from the Strat.

I don't think of that as the strip but they advertise it is

Absolute idiocy. Tick Segerblom must be a pothead. What a great leader for Nevada. Whatever, he should be ashamed for getting this legalized without working these things out. I'm in favor of legalizing pot to get control of it, take it out of criminals' hands, and maybe get people to QUIT using it. But all these potheads are using the law to say, see we told you it wasn't harmful. Of course it is though.
