I ran coax through the vent in the garage (that's where the antenna is for best reception), and down the side of the house to where the house next door was not blocking. No change. I did finally get 10, but not 21.

I'm at the start of making one of these. http://tradewhen.com/Dual-Bowtie-Pat...ize-paper).pdf

We have legal size paper so it was easier than it might have been to print.

Might start cutting cardboard today if my allergies relent some.

And if it doesn't help I'm going to run the wires higher on the wall. Right now I placed it too low (long, boring story) and it's catching the side of the countertop and has to bend awfully sharp. I'll move them up to behind the wall mount. Like I need more to do. "In retirement I'm going to take it easy."

Not.

I lost those channels as well. My antenna is in the Attic, so I would guess it's on there end, but who knows.

Made a bow-tie antenna. Still can't pull in 21 reliably. The wife says to give up, but she likes those channels. Not giving up. 10 comes in fine.

Channel 10:
Effective ERP: 105.000 kW (Adjusted according to your location)
Distance: 22.8 miles Azimuth: 128 degrees Compass: 116 degrees

Channel 21:
Effective ERP: 726.492 kW (Adjusted according to your location)
Distance: 22.8 miles Azimuth: 128 degrees Compass: 116 degrees

The only difference is he ERP value.

ERP explanation:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effective_radiated_power

If I understand it correctly I should get 21 easier than 10.

Doesn't matter. I ran a separate cable through the doorway and got the same results.

Sometimes you have to use a multi antenna setup aimed at Black Mountain and Mount Arden. Use a diplexer to combine the two antennas to one coax feed. This forum is a good place to check for station outages and changes

Did a rescan and got the channels back. Apparently they changed some of their equipment.

Built the bow tie antenna. No better than a pancake one. Wasted effort.

Scanned. Re-scanned. Did it all 50 times. Now I can't get 10 or 21.

Am I frustrated? Damn right I am.

I thought it had one. It's from Amazon and there is a small back box that connects to power and coax from the antenna then from it to the TV with coax.

I do have an old powered splitter I can try, but I assume I need to bypass that Amazon black gizmo if I do.
