I thought he was escaping to florida? It would seem that would certainly be good for Nevada.

The (governor?) of FL told him he was not welcome there. I wish our governor had balls that big.

Had an old buddy who was a high ranking corporate controller. Left and went into a big time RE investment opportunity. Two years before it all crashed he moved all his assets to his wife. They ended up wit 10 or 12 million and none of his investors ever figured out a way to get a dime back. Neat in a way. Would not even spend money to defend himself. So the investors had 100 million or such in judgements. But no way to ever collect a dime.
Out and out Lies? Did you not post this? Someone steal your account for a day? You are no mensch and never will be one.

I've gotten emails that say they agree with me on my interpretation of what you posted. Sorry some of us like to make our money honestly. The only people that admire this are birds of a feather. What you call neat in a way, disgusts the rest of us.

I am kind of surprised at you. Normally you seem pretty rational. But apparently you missed the follow on which said the perfectly rational intent - neat in a diabolical and evil way. You are unable to follow that one can be both clever and evil?

And what has that got to do with OJ? I am simply pointing out it is quite possible to live well even with huge judgement against you. It contains no approval. Simply a statement of fact. I believe OJ has already used the statutes on retirement income and Florida's homestead laws to protect very significant assets from the Goldmans et al.

Oh man the games. Your opinion of my rationality means NOTHING to me.
Sorry you are one or the other, NOT Clever and Evil. In your world I guess it does.

Go back and read who changed the focus of this thread. You did.

There is a HUGE difference in what your friend did and what OJ's judgement was for. Yes OJ is living well off his pension, but not able to bring in extra money.

I hope someone takes him up on his offer of $5 million for a tell all about prison and it goes right to the Goldman's and Brown's pocket. You know OJ is crying out for attention. His out of control ego will once again find him in trouble somehow, some day.

You seem pretty naive. You don't think a good lawyer can structure a deal in a what it would be difficult to impossible for a creditor to get to the money? There are lawyers that make a specialty in this.

I have a legal background. Worked as a paralegal for a criminal defense attorney. How about your background?

You're ignorant of the laws.

No, I don't think a good attorney would put his credibility on the line for OJ? Wouldn't that have been done by now? OJ surely had the money to make this happen.

OJ had about 12 years to make this happen BEFORE he went to prison. He was out in the world, free to do what he wanted. I'm sure he tried about everything available, before he lost his home and much of his collectibles cause of this judgment. No law firm was able to save him from this.

A 33 million dollar civil judgment for MURDER.

You are naive to think the law firm who won this award isn't watching Oj's every move. They are owed about half.

Anything he's 'paid' in housing etc, would need to be reported on a w2 or 1099. One clown on here actually thought that would work. Of course his lack of business background doesn't support much of what he states.

Maybe he could get a beneficiary like Sandy Murphy had. And pay him in cash out of his own pocket. She had something to offer this old silly fart. OJ isn't in this position.

But again, who in their right mind would put their business or personal reputation on the line. Maybe you would? Just askin'

More and more nonsense. Can the Goldman's and Brown's garnishee OJs wages? Sure they can. How much? Can they garnishee the wages of his son working for the Casino as an assistant to the host?

Can they garnishee performance related stock options? Deferred compensaton? How? Can they garnishee $50,000 cash someone pays OJ for signing football helmets?

Ever hear of Oscar Goodman? Know how he made his money? Notice how Oscar was barred from any other clientele or office because of his clientele.

By the way my mother and father were both lawyers. She was a well known expert on the income tax. At various times I have had 15 or 20 different lawyers on my staff. I was not one but I was a big time user. Even have a brother who just retired after 40 years practicing law in the Midwest. Senior prosecutor for a long time then a defense attorney.

OJ has to file a US income tax return like everybody else. If he doesn't or the return is phony, probation is revoked.
