You could check with the Lake Mead Marina down by Boulder City.

There are some nice sized striped bass in Lake Mead. And Mojave is stocked with rainbow trout.

Lake mead harbor has great boats for rent. For me, cheaper than owning, no worry about storage, and when I'm done I just hand the keys off and pay for gas.

When I was a kid, Lake Mead was full of Rainbow Trout. Then the stripers came. Then the stripers began getting huge (30-45lbs). Around that time the trout began disappearing. I wonder what happened to them...

What fishing bait do you guys use at Lake Mead? And what would be the recommendation for desert shores? I tried a couple of times there with blinker but no success.
