I'm a liberal and I hate conservatives with all my heart, as I imagine you likely hate me too. I think the one thing we can agree on is that it's time for a soft secession. Let there be a liberal and conservative United States and whoever wants to go to the other side can, and we can be done with one another forever. You get your conservative Utopia and we get our liberal one. It's the only way.

Being that Las Vegas still has this stuck-in-the-60's, car-centric mentality, in 20 years, hopefully they'll move on to being stuck-in-the-80's!

Stuck in the 60's? A proposal to build an elevated expressway from the Airport to the Convention Center, and meanwhile, they're tearing these eyesores down in other parts of the country.

It think in the long term, this is wrong. But it will be a progression. At some point if you want to play $25+/hand blackjack, you'll get a human dealer. Want $5 hand blackjack, it'll be a machine. The $25+ will get a human waitress. The $5/hand tables, a robot (and not self serve, because the casino won't want the players leaving the table.) The minimum bet threshold will ratchet up over time.

If they were successful, casinos would have replaced traditional table games long ago. My casino 6 weeks ago took out 20 slots for a 3 in 1 interactive machine and it rarely gets played.

Thank you for your honesty and candor.

What is it they call someone who hates other people -- even people they have never met -- simply because of what those other people believe or the color of their skin or the God to which they pray?

This is my point. I never used the word "hate" to begin with against anybody. I think most Liberals refuse to accept facts and not educate themselves to finding the truth. I hope you find god and take the "Red Pill" to open up your eyes.

I think updating the airport and widening the I-15 will help boost business/ commerce.

Maybe, but as I said in previous post, the machines have been here already for years without making a dent, the only casino that had them exclusively was the one at Lake Las Vegas due to space restrictions.

Now since there are "companion" robots being made, perhaps we may see robots that have human-like skin, hair, etc. I wouldn't rule it out but the costs will have to be below the costs of salary and benefits for a human dealer.

Thing is, I've prayed to the Republican God many times and was raised as a Lutheran, nothing ever came of it. On a logical level I've pretty well accepted that it cannot be true, although if I had an intense personal experience I might change my mind. Barring that it's very unlikely.

I've actually agreed with a few things conservatives believe in such as gun ownership, but I will never throw gay folks under the bus or be able to deny scientific facts like many, many conservative folks do. I also cannot stand the mention of God every five minutes, they do not respect the separation of church and state. Compare and contrast the Republican and Democratic primary and observe which one talks about God every other sentence, God isn't going to do Jack, real human beings working on the issues are.
