Fixed that for you. Act like a huge jerk, and it will be blamed on your national origin. Also, don't be surprised if you find people are friendly, but incredibly ignorant about anything outside the US. Almost 2/3rds of American could not find North Korea on a map. That's nearly half

This is true, but moreso in rural areas where their thinking is backwards. Being from the South, I seen it, heard it everyday growing up. In the big cities, its not like this for the majority.

The 500 homicide victims in Chicago this year would really appreciate that they were more forward thinking.

All others welcome.

Wish I was kidding.
Ha ha, we're from California and I can vouch for that. We left California for multiple reasons and we don't want Nevada to become just like California. Being from California doesn't necessarily mean you are supportive of that "system".

The big issue is illegal immigrants. There are some xenophobes here who don't want any immigrants, but they're a pretty small minority.

If you're bringing investment and jobs, talk to an immigration lawyer. There are visa programs specifically for that situation. You could very well get permanent residency.

Yes, I am in the middle of the process to acquire my green card legally. I would never consider moving anywhere illegal and so would 99,999% of my countrie's population. The process is not fast unfortunately...
