Exactly. The Drew sounds hip and urban. Fontainbleu sounds like an old school French restaurant trying to hold onto their clientele as they slowly die off around them.

But does "the Drew" mean something to these kids. Just askin'.

We employ no one under 50. If we wanted some kid who thought they knew it all, we'd of had our own.

Not that we don't use them (as consultants) for social media. That game they do know.

Any meaningless, one-syllable word is "hip" to fools these days, but WTF makes it
"urban?" and what makes something "urban" positive?

I understand why the owner is naming it The Drew, but I think it's a stupid name for it, and I'll be calling it The Fontainedreu.

According to Marriott

"EDITION combines the personal, individualized and unique hotel experience of a world-class boutique hotel with the reach and scale of a global hospitality company to deliver an experience that is polished and personable, charismatic and comfortable, and sophisticated while remaining accessible."

hmmm.... And John Unwin is on board the project. Can you say Cosmopolitan 2.0?

Is he Steve Wirkoff one of the owners now?

Why does the kid ODing not surprise me. What a shame. Poor kid.

Doesn't the 'Drew' have a huge shopping area at the street level. I know many years ago 'Commander's Palace' said they were closing at the Venetian and eventually would move into the FountainBlue's restaurant area. This was before they stopped the build. Oh I hope they come back.
