Finally getting back to Las Vegas after over a year. I've been a frequent visitor for over 15 years but like many the transformation of Sin City to Gouge City for this long time visitor is too much to enjoy. But I'm not giving up on Las Vegas just yet; I visit more like a local resident anyway (always stay local casinos and get out in the quiet solitude of the desert, haven't stayed on the Strip in years). So with a new strategy I'm staying on the Boulder highway this time at Eastside Cannery for the first time. I have played there and Sam's Town a few times but it's been quite a while.

But I'm not exactly familiar with driving out there in that part of town, especially at night. I will be coming in late and by the time I get the rental car it will be like around 10 pm. I need to know the best recommended route that will get me there with the least amount of stops and no travels through sketchy neighborhoods. Appreciate any help offered!

Make a left out of the center onto Gilespie. Left onto Warm Spring. Another left onto Las Vegas Blvd.

Go to Tropicana and make a right. Follow that all the way down to boulder highway. Make a left. Eastside Cannery will be on the right hand side. Can't miss it.

bing (insert into search engine) McCarran Rent-A-Car center to Eastside Cannery

take the 10.3 mile route

Paradise, right on Tropicana, left on Boulder Hwy, Eastside Cannery will be on your right

Not trying to contradict, but I believe you would make a right turn out of the rental center, right on Warm Springs, and then a right on the Strip and a right on Tropicana. Left on Boulder Highway.

Only saying this because I just went that way. You can't turn left out of the rental center.

Yeah, that stood out to me also. It's 3 rights to get to the strip.

Looking at Gilespie street view in front of the site it looks like you can turn left.

Google directions also say a left turn onto Gilespie is allowed.

Thank you for the suggestions, I would rather avoid getting on LVB that time of night so I will look at the alternative backstreet route of Warm Springs to Paradise to Tropicana to Boulder Highway. I forgot that it's a bit of a drive to Boulder Highway from the rental car center.

Does Eastside Cannery have a garage or is it all parking lot parking? I think they do have valet parking which I may use when I get there that late.

Thanks again!

Not if you are coming out of the garage after picking up a car.
