Talk about insult to injury. It wouldn't feel so wrong if they actually invested any of the extra profit, but we know that they don't. Whatever extra money that doesn't go directly to executives' pockets will go to any candidate like Sandoval or Heller - candidates that continually vote against the free market.




Service in Southern Nevada will continue to flounder and it will not improve until an entirely new provider arrives -- whether it's Switch branching out into this market sector, or Google Fiber or their streetlamp wireless mesh network, or SpaceX's Constellation project, it has to be a company that would rather invest in itself than in bribes. And when that company makes their product available, I strongly urge everyone to switch providers and educate all their friends and family to make the right decision as well.

NV Energy does have competition. That is if you have a solar PV system on the roof.
