Legal concealed gun owners where forced to disarm prior to entering the event. The police and event sponsors created the perfect soft target.

If every single person was armed nothing would have changed except more dead bodies as morons would have been firing, blindly, into Mandalay bay. The outdoor venue in sight of 5 hotels is the problem not the presence or absence of guns.

It a real shame the media trying to find a political affiliation to connect the shooter to and some politicians trying to exploit the situation even before people have been buried and all victims are identified. What kind of America is this today? Just a little decent and class would go a long way.

I hope they can find some answers, for the sake of the victims and their families. Just absolutely horrific and tragic.
That actually seems to be the norm.

Body armor would have been the only thing that would have helped save lives.

The outdoor venue in sight of 5 hotels is the problem >> this is not the problem.

The problem is that humans sometimes do evil things.... IT JUST HAPPENS.

STOP IT! This thread is not the place for discussion of gun rights, gun control, Second Amendment rights, instruments of mass destruction, religion, partisan politics, the shifting of the societal paradigm, or other off topic comments. Some of them have been incredibly insensitive.

People are hurting! Many are dead. Some are still dying, despite the best efforts of skilled medical providers. Thousands of people directly affected are trying to make sense of the insanity and it will be years before they can put their lives back together again.

Please don't cause this thread to be closed. Stay 'on topic' and take the other stuff to the appropriate fora.

Yeah, people do horrible things. This one was preventable. Had they been in t mobile this would have not happened.

I don't know about that...
