You want to volunteer to stand in front of the door and open it when the guy fired 200 rounds into the hall through that very door? And he had been shooting wildly into a crowd of people. This they knew for a fact. He proved he was dangerous.

Seriously your post doesn't make any sense at all. But conspiracy theories usually don't for those who think things through.

Thanks for clearing things up on yet more untrue rumors. From a naive poster.

Next time anyone even walks into a hotel casino, doesn't even have to be on the floor, look up. The eyes are everywhere.

I lost a jacket in the buffet area at Caesars, They ran the tape (had to tell them about what time we were there) and they found it for me. Who picked it up and where it was taken to. NOT lost and found but the managers office. Yeah it was a very nice jacket.

How are they sucking this town dry. Cause they charge for parking?

I don't like paying for parking but it has made us look outside the strip for dining options and I must say I'm very impressed on the growth in that area off the strip in the last 5 years.

I've been here 17 years and the growth I have witnessed is unbelievable. Our business takes us to the strip almost weekly. But I have met so many small business success stories in the last few years that have nothing to do with the strip. Hopefully someday we will not be a one trick pony town.

Thank you so much for posting. If I heard the guard correctly in this footage, he heard shooting BEFORE he was shot but didn't at first recognize it as gun shots. Then the shooter saw him on the camera he put in the cart and shot at him while he was going down the hall.

That was a good layout Ellen had put together. For the people that never been in a suite and think the shooting was from 2 rooms. Las Vegas hotel suites are large.

Thank you, I could not figure out what the "Eileen" show was. Thought maybe it as some local news show someplace I didn't know about and didn't know how to watch.

I called 911 last Friday night to report a fire in my neighborhood. It rang once and they answered immediately. They transferred me to fire and they also answered immediately. My experience was nothing like what you described.

There will always be people that think the police should be at their door in 30 seconds because the neighbor is playing loud music, a neighbor's dog is barking, etc. Nevermind that someone else could be experience a life-threatening event. I have never, ever had a problem with metro when I needed them nor when getting my tickets.

Nope. Thats the police's job and exactly what they were trained to do. Metro had 1 job in all of this, and that was to stop the shooting... They failed to do that.

Get out of here with that. They did a fantastic job. I'm sick of people saying that when #1 they follow their protocol #2 they have families to go home to as well. You are acting like it took them hours to get to this shooter.
