Apples to oranges. Amazon is about market expansion.

Accountants have nothing to do with those businesses going out of business. That is a sign of the times.

Probably depends on what else they have going on. I'm sure after the Mandalay shooting, responses were very slow.

Visitation numbers down?

You can imagine what the visitation numbers would be if he had made use of his bomb-making material!

Tourists will eventually overcome the massacre, (isolated incident type of thinking), but not an explosion at one of the hotels! We might never recover from something like that!

Your post says, you can't think of anyone who will ruin a business faster than accountants. Amazon is the one company that does that. You do realize that Amazon does not turn a profit, right?

You are of the impression that lower Manhattan has shut down and become utterly inhabitable?

Yes this attack will cause some damage. And a significant bomb in q hotel might cause more. But a few years later it all passes.

Jeesuz, Enough with Amazon, I didn't bring it up. Start an Amazon thread somewhere else.

This is the shooting thread, let's get back on topic.

You beat me too it. Ground Zero is now a major tourist attraction in and of itself (and really was immediately after the attack), especially not that they've got big chunks of it rebuilt.
