mine is fleck 5600 about 13 yrs old and just crapped out on me last week.

dont know for sure. the regeneration dial just got stuck and will not advance. had to place system in bypass mode for now.

home warranty sent someout out that said he couldnt get parts and would have to replace the entire system, but the warranty wont cover the entire cost due to plan limits. I'm in the process of getting a second opinion.

They are liars. The 5600 is my go-to valve, has been for 40 years. Turning it CLOCKWISE, you can't get it to move? Do NOT try to turn it counter-clockwise - you WILL damage the mechanism. IF you can't get it to move, then more than likely the seals/spacers and the piston should be replaced. Those parts are readily available. If nothing else, drop me a PM and I'll get you my email and phone info and I can help guide you through this. If you are even handy, you can do it yourself - I can preview some youtube videos and get you the best ones to use.
