I'll be in Vegas next weekend for the first time ever. I'm 25 and a cowboy. I work on a cattle ranch in Arizona, so western wear and the cowboy life is in my blood. Just wondering what are some good cowboy bars and hangouts around the Strip or Fremont Street, or Vegas in general? Ones where I will be ok wearing Wranglers, western shirt, cowboy boots, etc. Just have a few beers, dance, listen to music, and just chill while I'm in Vegas, and maybe meet some of the girls too lol
Any suggestions from the locals or those who go to Las Vegas regularly?

Stoney's rocking country at town center is pretty popular.

Bob Taylors particularly at Rodeo Time. Loaded with cowboys often drunken in the late evening. My wife won't go there in Rodeo season...claims the language is too much for her.

Are you talking about Bob Taylor's Ranch House way up north, the one that's maybe 20 miles from the strip? The place with the over-priced steaks served a-la-carte? Last time I was there, maybe 8 years ago, it was just a restaurant with a small bar. Have they changed?

I think the OP will be best served by Stoney's. It's got great music, is very close to the strip and the serving girls are easy on the eyes

Ditto on Stoney's. That'll be your best bet

Not 20 maybe 15. 20 minutes outside the rush hour. And the steaks are pretty good at well less than strip prices. The bar gets very active at Rodeo time. Less so other times and generally later in the evening. We eat there about every other month.

Kind of a neat throw back to the old NW when it was virtually all cowboy. A few are left but most have moved on to Pahrump or up north.

If not Rodeo I would agree Stoney's is a much better bet.
