Last year I went to the Resort on Mt. Charleston for a buffet spread they put on there. You can get a reservation so you don't have to wait in line for an hour. The food was very good and if you've never been up there, it's a good excuse to take a drive.

Thank you for all of the suggestions. I'll probably wind up somewhere here in Henderson. The Bobby at Capriottis does sound good though.

Capriottis closes on T-day so last year a few of us on here went the night before and got sandwiches which we put in the fridge overnight for the next day.

Also Honey Baked Ham is an easy place to pick up premade roast turkey and side dishes to reheat for the next day. I did that one year for two people.

Marie Callender's on Stephanie, no line (pie line was out the door). In and out. Very good fresh carved turkey dinner, with soup, corn bread, and a slice of pie included.

Hank's at GVR. Skipped the turkey. Crab cake appetizer followed by bone-in ribeye medium rare. Could not finish the steak. Should not have ordered a side dish either...no room for dessert. Very good. One Don J margarita, share crab cakes, 2 bone in ribeyes, 2 sides total...dinner for 2....$190 (comp).

Hank's serves that up any day. I was looking for a true Thanksgiving meal that most people only have once a year. I was actually invited by a coworker to her apartment and took her up on the offer. Did anyone see the lines for the buffets at Station Casinos?

You didn't ask about a true Thanksgiving meal in your original post.

The lines at GVR were long. Even Chairman line was ridiculous. The longest lines I've seen since the free Veterans' Buffet a few weeks ago, where people flock to RR and GVR buffets because the buffets are better than the other stations.
