I have many experiences of Vegas passing through and shopping. I recall getting into an altercation (thankfully not physical) once, and always seeing police in the North End of town. Why is such a wealthy city so distressed?

I've been to many places. There is nowhere that looks nearly as bad as one of what I've seen of Las Vegas. I think that town is where Los Angeles sends its undesirables. I hate to say that... All cities do have bad areas; I get it, but everyone there in north Las Vegas just seems so angry... WHY?!?!?!??

I don't think you've been very many places. I'd live in North Vegas before driving through Compton.

Which side of I-15 are you talking about ? The EASTERN side of I-15 is scary as ****. Have you ever been to Compton ??? I feel safer there! I know Compton-intimately. I used to be able to see its courthouse bldg (the city's ONLY talk building) from my bedroom window at SunnyCove. So, let's not bring up Comoton UNLESS you've lived it.

Every city has good and bad areas. Think Upper East Side of Manhattan and the South Bronx. Vegas is no different.

I've never heard Las Vegas called a wealthy town before.

There we go again with a negative stereotype of the city of North Las Vegas!

There are some very nice areas of NLV and some bad areas. Areas north of Craig Rd and west of I-15 are desirable and the more north you go the better it gets. Some can be said about parts of Las Vegas itself and even Henderson.

There bounds to be much new home construction in NLV and there's lots of room to grow north of the northern beltway! Commercial real estate is doing very well also and the future is looking good

Craig d area was wear a crazy lady trued to fight me at the Pilot pump when I told her she almost hit me driving recklessly in the parking lot. (Pilot is always crowded and nobody should just plow through there without looking.)
