I'm wondering if the numbers are going to pencil out. Vegas is not short of big concert venues, and seem to be getting more every day. Discounting the horde of casino theaters/showrooms, you have the MGM Grand Garden Arena, The T-Mobile Arena. Mandalay Bay Event Center, Thomas and Mack, Caesars Coliseum, and I'm may be missing some.. I'm sure the Raiders Stadium will used for concerts. How many outdoor temporary or semi-permanent venues are there? What's happening with the Rock in Rio Venue? There was the venue where the shooting occurred, but that may be permanent done, given the circumstances.

Can one more venue really make money? Of course there is the Sands Expo angle. That may keep it full enough to make money.

Just so long as it doesn't burn when I pee.

"A venue that size would need nearly 14,000 spots for vehicles, but Las Vegas Sands representatives asked that the existing 12,000 spaces at The Venetian and Palazzo count in that total."

*smacks forehead*

More stupidity from the people who brought the idea that there's enough parking for the T Mobile Arena. Uh. no. There's not. And 2000 spaces onsite for this venue will not be enough either. We would love to support the LVGK's but between ticket prices, the parking vig from MGM and the hassle, it's not worth it.

And no offense to EA or any other rideshare drivers, but it will have to snow outside in August for us to rideshare after an event when rates are subject to whim.

You're referring to prime and surge rates.
Well, Lyft rarely ever has any here. And when they do it tends to be 25%
So your 5 dollar ride will be 6.25. Which is less than a cab by a lot.

The alternate design is underwhelming.

If T Mobile puts you off, I doubt you would have ever been a patron of this place.

The reason why a monorail station in the area is being planned to help with mobility. I would not want to park near a large venue if I have a choice, it's a nightmare leaving the area after an event. Visitors and locals can utilize the monorail to and from the venue.

Get back to me when it is built and finished and opened for business like T-Mobile arena. I moved here during the boom and there was a whole lot of "coming soon" only to not see it coming. Mall of Las Vegas, proposed to be the World's largest indoor shopping mall to be built behind the Smith's shopping center at Durango & Elkhorn way back in 2005! Saw that as a joke when I first moved here in 2005. Yeah, attached 25 story condo towers in Centennial Hills.
