Spring Valley Park on Buffalo and West Flamingo has excellent facilities for children. It has 2 play areas with canopies. One is the more obvious play area visible on West Flamingo and Buffalo while the other play area is towards the back of the park, also with a canopy. Spring Valley Park has a play area with water features as well.

Another park worth visiting in Spring Valley is the Desert Breeze Park which is larger than Spring Valley Park and with play areas for toddlers as well. Desert Breeze Community Center has indoor pool and an outdoor water park. There is a fee, summer and annual pass or a daily pass which is minimal.

You will have just have to learn to deal with it when outdoors. There are many parks in Las Vegas providing playgrounds for children with shades or canopies and they are not rundown at all. Water features are also common in the playgrounds in Las Vegas.

That does look like fun.. basically an entire warehouse filled with hundreds of trampolines right next to each other

Only thing that might be cooler than that is the indoor sky diving

FLIPnOUT Fun Centers! – Birthday Parties! Trampolines! Inflatables!

On Craig west of the Cannery. I highly recommend this place. The staff are excellent with kids.
