If EA can't make decent money, then no one can.

Looks like all they care about is hiring as many people as they can so there will always be supply.

It's going to be even tougher to make a living as a cab driver once these rideshare companies figure out autonomous vehicles.

I'm actually doing about 2k a week. I said that to deter competition from people that make dumb statements.
You have to treat it like a business.
In my experience, running a big rideshare group on facebook, people that post like that tend to make things bad for the rest of us.

It takes a while to figure the city out. How to work the kickbacks and such. Where to go, when to go, the ins and outs.

I drove for both Uber and Lyft in Phoenix...sure there are days that the money was good, but most days it wasn't worth the mileage and dealing with drunk, and pukers, and damage.

If they have it available in Las Vegas - I'd highly recommend working for Amazon Flex. Better base pay, ultimate flexibility, and packages don't talk back or complain about your music...LOL

flex.amazon.com If Las Vegas isn't listed, they may not be hiring at the moment. Once you sign up, they do a background check, you watch a few videos, and then you're good to go!

Most of my deliveries lately in Las Vegas have been from AMZL which is Amazon's own local delivery service. I usually get earlier delivery from them than the other delivery services.

how many hours do you typically work each day and what do you make per hour?

i know the amazon warehouse employees make around $12.50/hr to start, but it's slow season right now so I would also expect you to be a little less busy

i applied for amazon flex a while back and got accepted but got a different job, might consider doing that though.

I don't work for Amazon. I just meant the deliveries I get from them now are mostly from AMZL.

Flex is not hiring right now in Vegas. They go by blocks of time. 4 hours = 59. 5 hours 70$

AMZL = Amazon Logistics - those are usually the contracted drivers in the white vans. Flex = independent contractors, using their own cars, etc. Flex drivers make approximated $18/hr; Logisitics may make a bit less - I heard somewhere around 12-14 per hour. Blocks are usually in range from 3-5 hours. Here in Phoenix, they combined everything under the Flex umbrella - so Flex drivers could get either Logistics (packages), Amazon Prime Now, or "Instant Offers" (usually overbooked Prime Now or restaurant deliveries.
