Hello,
I have chatted with many of you before on this subject.
I have now had my pre-approval vacation home loan, and i'm coming to Las Vegas in May, please please help advise, what areas should i consider for a vacation rental? what areas is popular, easy to get to the strip and most imortant safe. I want to spend a max of $250k.
I'm not far from London, so I know that no area if safe to live, some are better than others.
I grew up in the city, I'm quite street wise and always looking over my shoulder. I never leave my purse on show or available for others to take, and i'm very security minded when out alone or with my girlfriends.

Vegas is something that hubby and I have looked into for many years, we are in love with the people and place, living in Las Vegas full time is guess is a different ball game.

In the UK our TV is quite American, with soaps, sit comms, dramas and many US films..we are quite use to the US terms for many things. On the other hand the US is not aware of much of our TV and use of words, and i don't blame you.
for E.G when i was last in Vegas eating out, I ordered a plate of chips with tomato sauce.. I got a plate of potato chips, what I wanted was Fries(Chips in England) It's a wonder i did'nt get a plate of gaming chips)..me and the waitress just laughed when we realised what the mix up was, she was fantastic and ordered me a plate of Fries with ketchup.
