Hold the laughter to minimum if you will.

Around 1:00am this morning, May 29th, 2018 as my wife and I were falling asleep we both saw a very bright flash of white light through our closed eyelids. This is a phenomenon that often occurs to me and her less so. The difference is that we both saw it. It is usually something one person experiences, but two?

The light was white and very short in duration. Like a flash bulb going off. Light through your eyelids usually has a reddish tinge.

A flash outside is unlikely as we have Styrofoam sheeting in the windows to block the morning sun and heavy drapes as well. Very little light gets through.

I have no explanation. I got up and turned on all the lights to see if one had burned out in a weird way, and the television just because. Nothing.

I was following you until this ^ part.

So you don't think it was a fireball / meteor destined to be a meteorite?

We have our windows blocked in the master bedroom. Bay faces east with no overhang and it hot as the dickens in there. Plus we get awakened at a very early hour in the summer by the light and heat.

I checked online. The closest was in Texas last night and there was no reported flash from it.

I thought of that. But I'm not really a believer. Of course that could be because they planted that in my mind.

You totally fooled me. I thought this was going to be a Las Vegas Knights
thread. I am somewhat disappointed now!
