I don't live in Vegas but visit many times per year and always rent a car. The biggest issues, imo, are different speeds on the 15. Drastically different speeds. Is it Strip gawkers, garbage cars, or ignorance? It is a dangerous situation when someone is going 75 and another going 50. You better keep your head on a swivel. Another is getting in a turn lane and turning right. Someone (usually a cabbie) will try to get underneath you if you don't move quickly into the right hand turn lane. This isn't Nascar, folks. Also, the tourists not paying attention by getting into the proper lane to either turn or proceed straight ahead.

Anyway, I subscribe to the NYC school of driving...make the other guy brake first.

Allstate's 2014 Report. Not much has changed. Las Vegas #123 out of 200 (1 best, 200 worst). North LV #130 and Henderson #57. We are not even in the running for the worst.

No surprise to see the District Of Columbia faring very poorly on this list. Driving there is hellacious. Worse than New York in my opinion.

LOL Des Moines at #16. They obviously have never been there during high school basketball and wrestling tournaments, prom night shopping, or the State Fair.
