Storm came up out of nowhere. Winds nearly 70mph near Sam Boyd. Then the rain and lightning came. There was a UNLV preseason football game but they got chased out about 45 minutes ago. Lights off over there, now.

I think it's awesome! It's pouring in Spring Valley right now. But wow holy wind is right. Love storms like these, wish they were more frequent.. whole LV valley got a nice good drench. Will we have clear skies tomorrow hopefully and get rid of some of that smoke?

Went outside and some of the neighbors trees have fallen over from the wind, even big trees. Wow

I like the wind gusts when I’m inside the house and not driving the family SUV on the 15.

My next door neighbor's patio umbrella wound up at the bottom of my pool. It is the same umbrella that I bought him to replace the one that mine broke off when it blew over the wall into his pool. Fortunately mine was down this time.

It was crazy. I am sensitive to Olander, and there are a ton of them planted around here. My eyes are almost swollen shut from the amount of flowers that were blowing around.

Several years ago, we had a windstorm like last night and my mother in law’s glass table ended up in the bottom of her pool, shattered. That was a heck of a mess.

Interesting. We got the wind...junk all over the yard. But virtually no rain. No obvious lightning or thunder.

Wow! It was quite a show. Surprised you didn't at least see the lightning.
