The 115 also intersects there. I did have to walk on Thursday from LV blvd. and Craig due to construction and I was able to make it to work on time walking from there, so it can be done.

I know someone here had previously recommended eagle trace, but they have extremely poor google reviews.

I am not familiar enough with that part of LV (only been here 4 years and live out west) so I can't give recommendations on where to live.

Listen to NLVgal she knows what she's talking about

If it is a ****ed area, they should really charge less rent in my opinion.

I am willing to look for a roommate in some of the more desirable areas. Where is El Dorado?
To answer your question, I have more than enough cash saved up.
El Dorado is about a mile south of Aliante and a little east. It would be a straightforward commute if you found something. My home was in Tropical Breeze, a little west of there. There is one apartment complex near there. I was off of Ann and Simmons ( which changes names to Aliante Parkway when you head north a mile. ) The bus stop was on Ann & Simmons. They had a few routes, I’m almost certain one of the must go to the hospital by now.

Also, Aliante has a great park, and safe places to ride your bike for fun. Quality of life issue, you know?

I would note that 219 bus turns around at Lone Mountain and Rancho. There are two reasonably nice apartments there. Tivoli and Inspirado. Tivoli starts around $950 for a single BR. Inspirado may be a little more. Basically just south of the Santa Fe Casino and in a reasonably nice area...particularly if you head west.

I’m getting a steal on my rent, but LVMENSCH would slap me upside the head if he knew the place I picked out. I’m getting a one bedroom, plus office, big old patio where I can BBQ, a fireplace, and two car garage for 945 a month. The area is sketchy, but I knew that going in. I don’t think this group offers anything that would be convenient for a commute to the hospital.

My lease is up in October. The group is called Buffalo Highlands. It probably won’t work for Wisconsin, but others read these threads, and the thing they screen for isn’t credit. It’s criminal background.

And don’t yell at me Mensch, but I’m in the one on Rainbow.

My ex used to live in one of those complexes. He liked it a lot.

Technically, I could afford the 950 but it is a matter of sticker shock at this point. The most I have ever paid for rent is 750.00 in Anchorage and then 689.00 in Minneapolis.

Unfortunately in the contracting world, there isn't much job security which makes signing a lease a calculated risk.

Thank you for the information.

It is all relative. I just rented a place in Sun City Summerlin to an older lady who thinks it is a very good deal...which it is. $3,000 a month.

SCS. I'm not surprised. Let me guess: Golf course over 2500 sq ft.
