Smoke induced? What, is it 4:20? The day this guy gets something right is the day Bush is appointed president of Mensa.

Just wondering...is a group of Mensa members ever referred to as Menses?

hundreds of car makers in detroit in the early 1900s? might want to brush up on your history.

recent reports also suggest that while many dot companies folded, close to 50% were around till 2004 (Goldfarb, Brent D., Kirsch, David and Miller, David A., "Was There Too Little Entry During the Dot Com Era?" (April 24, 2006). Robert H. Smith School Research Paper No. RHS 06-029). not really the 90% bankruptcy in 1 year you stated.

where the F did you get your housing foreclosure info from....sounds made up to me. cite something if you got it, but until then your stats are as worthless as the rest of your doom and gloom predictions. houses losing 90% of their value in 3 years? hah! mass exodus? not unless something remarkably tragic happens to the nation.

and for god's sake, man...if you are going to try and get all witty and wrap up your rant w/ a vegas slogan at least get it right, poor english not withstanding. (It Vegas baby!....really?)

**and oh yeah - why the hell did you quote yourself?

Are you sure about your info? There was thousands of tool and die shops that worked with the car companies. Hundreds of buildings that once where tool and dies shops that made all of the car parts for the Big three GM, Chrysler, Ford 95 percent are all closed down. one after another vacant building, vacant building, vacant buiding everywhere in Detroit. Let me guess you went to Google and that is where you found the facts. Funny thing it does not tell you that all these car companies subcontract most of there work to tool and die shops. Google that idiot.

As for the dotcom companies most of them went belly up that where listed as stocks. From Rare Medium, Excite@home, Egghead, Boo.com, so many of them I can even begin to name them all since it is hundreds of companies. Google that idiot.

Las Vegas boomtown is over. Mark my words get out. It is over.

Whoever comes up with these "polls" that are slanted towards the negative? Those questions won't tell you anything the way they were asked except that whoever is asking them is biased against Las Vegas. If you want to know who's leaving and who's staying you need to learn how to get that info from proper poling questions.

you stated 90% of tech went bankrupt... in fact that is a much lower number. If that was the case, then Silicon Valley would implode. Around circa 2001, there was a lot of empty buildings in SV, but now it has rebounded to be a much more stable.
