Car insurance was the same for me when I brought it over from CA. Rent is obviously lower which is nice and if you stay away from the strip, it really doesn't even feel like Las Vegas when you are over in Summerlin, parts of Spring Valley or Henderson. It's quieter, cleaner, and more mellow than I expected.

Hey WhiteNight!

I was looking at another thread and noticed that people were buying cars in Cali and driving them to NV. I am looking and reading up on North/South Summerlin, Charleston Heights, Spring Valley, Paradise Valley, Enterprise and Henderson.

If kids were kept inside when the temperature is above 90, they wouldn't see the outdoors for 8-9 months out of the year. Bear in mind that our heat normally comes with 5-15 percent humidity, and 100 degrees here is a pretty nice day. North of 110 is hot regardless.
