So I wasn't far off. BTW 'Lake Flato' might be the worst development name I have ever heard.

It is not a development. It is an architectural firm.

I think people aren’t aware of what large cities nlv(250k pop) and Henderson(300k+) are. Plus both have relatively fewer apartments than other cities, resulting in sprawl and large cities in terms of area.
I have driven along the Las Vegas Blvd up towards Nellis and beyond. I have passed Craig Rd. That is a very small section. Unless you mean to include areas west of I-15. I thought the city of North LV was only east of I-15.

If you people think it is bad now, wait till the Raiders arrive in town. We will see even more Ghetto from ALL ethnicities. Just make the best of the situation and it helps having full family around you to keep your sanity. Goodluck to us all!

Most definitely. A former boss of mine is 3/4 way through building a 12K SF house build. There are several houses under construction. I went to the open house for their new clubhouse/health club about a year ago. They are actively selling.

North Las Vegas goes all the way to Elkhorn / Decatur. eg.. Aliante.

Yeah as Airic points out the nice part of NLV is in fact west of the 15 and mostly north of Craig. There is however a very nice cluster up by the VA Hospital east of Lamb and south of the 215.

I would also note that there is a good bit north of Elkhorn. NLV goes as far north as Grand Teton and Horse.

Those are two and three miles north of Elkhorn.

1) The Raiders will not be bringing Oakland with them.
2) As anyone from the Bay Area can tell you, there are far more arrests at 49ers games.

In my opinion, Raiders bring thug mentality.
More arrests at SF? Bigger crowd

There's an "old Oakland" and a "new Oakland".

Old Oakland is the Raiders, the gangs/thugs, street crime, grittiness, bad neighborhoods.

New Oakland is the expansion of the tech industry, hipsters and artists priced out of SF, restoration of old victorian homes, street fairs and farmers markets.
