Default visitors

Question for the locals,
when you moved to las vegas, did you have lots of people wanting to visit you? I hope this does not happen, but just curious.

When I lived in Vegas, yes. My aunt who now lives there has so much company she is now considering moving to Palm Springs.

I got a lot of visitors the first year, but after that, it slowed down significantly (the novelty wore off for everyone).

People still come in town sometimes, but they usually want to stay on the strip, so I can avoid meeting up with them if I "have too much going on". It's really not that big of a deal.

that is the advantage to living in the northwest, can't walk to the strip or downtown...

I am assuming people will want to stay at my place (for free) and utilize my second car (for free).
It's going to be hard to say no.

When they say "HI we're coming to Vegas" you IMMEDIATELY reply with "GREAT, let me know where you're staying and we'll get together for coffee."

I WANT people to come visit.

A casita would be perfect since we can lock the visitors out of the house.

We love visitors, just not "cleaning" the house before they come. My in-laws will be here on Wednesday. The kids are really looking forward to seeing them. It has been almost a year since they came out to see us after we moved here.
Next month my mom comes into town for a week and I'm trying to get my dad out here before it gets too hot.
