Hello,
Do you know of any Foreign companies based in Las Vegas? (Mainly French, Canadinan) ... Or multinational companies with offices in Vegas that work with international markets?

I speak very fluent French (France) and good working knowledge of Arabic language ... experience in Export, and international sales

Looking to use these skills in my job hunt. I was wondering if there are some specific companies that i should target in Vegas

Thanks in advance

You mean foreign companies with an office in Vegas, right? Ya see, if they were "based" in Las, ah , nevermind.

Anyhoo, International Expeditors (Import/Export) usually speak 3-5 languages, have a thorough knowledge of maritime law, shipping, etc., etc. These position are almost 100% based near a major port; for the west coast that would be Oakland, SF, LA/Long Beach and Seattle.

So would Zappos have the need? Sure. But doubtful that role would be based at HQ; it's probably much closer to the Port of Entry. Most of their containers probably come through Long Beach, so a role like this would usually be there to interact with CBP, customers brokers, freight carriers, etc.

Best of luck in your search, but you might find the major port cities offer many more opportunities.

Thanks Von for your answer.

I'm coming from a Port city, and will be moving to Vegas in summer.... i am aware that the Export field is mainly present in Port cities, but wanted to check if there is anything related to the field in Vegas..

What about companies, offices, other industries, that need French speaking people? Or standard Arabic speaking? ... any leads?

Check the major casinos. They hire multilingual in a number of customer service roles. Actually if you are good at people in multiple languages you could actually end up rich.
