Are you a robot or a moron?

Do you know how many people see the poem? If it didn't represent what New York is about, then it would've been taken down by your lot a long time ago.

Who sees it? It's not really visible unless you go up the statue, which the last I knew they don't do anymore. I've never heard anyone claim that the poem represents New York. I don't see how it could considering France gifted it in 1886, long before the mass migrations or the existence of Ellis Island as a customs port.

Who is "my lot?" I'm not Democrat, Liberal, or an SJW - you know, the groups that keep taking down statues all over the US.

Right out of the playbook - accuse your opposition of the same thing you are already doing.

Not really sure what any of this has to do with the original post, but there you go.

BREAKING NEWS!

Straight from the border town released just today:

https://www.kvia.com/special-reports...tage/997055616

Where are you at Supreme Pizza, ticking time bomb? Who should you believe that we don't need a wall? The liberal idiots or the agents on the
ground? hahahhahahahahahahaha

If you've never been to the border, watch the video, it's eye-opening.

Excerpt from the news:

"The agent who spoke with ABC-7 said they need reinforcements to protect the border. "If it's a wall, put up a wall. If it's planes, helicopters...whatever! But do something more instead of talking about it. Ask the officers. Ask them what they need! Right now, we are babysitting. We're supposed to pay attention to medical conditions that we're not trained for. We are not machines. We're emotionally stressed."

Here is another news just released today, walls doesn't work my ***! The real troubling part is that they were all wearing army ACU...it's extremely dangerous to play political games with safety/security of our country.

https://www.kvia.com/crime/national-...lers/996789345

Dare anyone to call these fake news lol

The poem is affixed to the pedestal/base (indoors, and not 'exposed to the elements'). It's not 'up the statue' nor 'up in the statue'.

Nobody goes in the statue anymore. Last I knew it's been closed for years.

Sure only about 4.5 million people a year visit the statue. And yes you can still climb the stairs to the crown.

I had heard the inside was closed due to being in a state of disrepair with no funding to renovate. I don't exactly sit around keeping tabs about when the statue of liberty is open.

I just looked it up... Interior of the statue has been closed since 2001. However, you can still visit Liberty Island and tour the exterior.

Another illustration you need better sources. Visitors to the SofL are at record levels and the interior was fully restored. Closed for a while after hurricane Sandy but open since mid 2013.
