Yeah, but, but, we're going see house prices fall 50% and, and, and there's going to be a recession that makes the Great Depression (not the fake one in 2008) look like a cake walk. Then China is going to drop EMP bombs on us and, and, and.

And I agree with you to an extent. You have to admit some of the information that comes rolling at us in these doomsday threads is a bit, well, silly.

2008 was a result of the dumbing down of America. Anyone with a whit of common sense would never buy into that snake oil offer.

But the dumbing down of America still continues and is happening in tandem wth redistribution of wealth from the common person to the rich.

The real estate market will pick up again here in Vegas in March, April and May when those in California cry over their tax returns.

Markets for homes above $300k started declining a little at this time, I agree let us wait till March and beyond to know what is coming next a further drop or the market will stabilize, I don't believe that increases will be as before if any.

Perhaps it’s already been mentioned, but the raiders coming and Knights hockey teams won’t boost the economy and market?

Economy yes. Market no. Californians are moving to Nevada because of the cost of living is much cheaper, not because of a team

Saw a Realtor friend last night and asked about the market. He said fewer houses are selling, and he doesn't think the time of year is all of it. People are balking at prices, houses are taking longer to close.

I think (I wish I had asked) he only sells in Sun City Summerlin.

I put in 89134. Only sfr. 330 is the cheapest. 2 bedroom 1800sf that needs updating

I agree prices are high

I think the raiders coming here will boost the local illicit drug trade
