How big is CES in Vegas? Is the traffic the thing that annoys residents most about these conventions?

Anyone going?

There is no CES traffic outside of the strip.

I love CES and all the conventions because they make Las Vegas viable.

I am not attending. I was supposed to go this year but I am too damn busy. I dig seeing all the latest tech.

I think it adds slightly to the rush hour traffic which makes a big difference

As for attending, I would like to see the 8k TVs in person (which have 4x the resolution of 4k) just to see if there's a large noticeable difference. All the rest of it, I prefer to see on the news.

It makes the traffic pretty gnarly anywhere on LVBLVD/Koval/Paradise.

I've never been, but my husband goes every year. I avoid the strip so traffic in that area is of no concern.

I would go to CES in the morning. Leave early afternoon. Then starting around 5 I would Uber till midnight Very good money. I would also get the CES directories and put them on EBay.

Lover CES. It's our biggest convention and brings in tons of visitors who spend tons of money. Worried the Strip properties gouging people attending conventions might chase the convention out of town.

I have some photos on my photo site, Off the Vegas Strip. Love CES! I also like Bell Helicopter's state of the art chopper that looks like a giant drone.

Happy for conventions in general, but CES stopped being interesting to me years ago.
