Von- I know right lol, it won’t be forever but I haven’t smoked in almost three months I’ve replaced it with working out putting on muscle mass. I’m sure I’ll hit the dispensary here and there, but even if I do it will be more of the vape pen or edibles. I doubt I’ll fully go back to the buds again though

Airics- I’ve been working at a drug-free casino with random drug tests for five years, I’ve been random tested twice. I always carry Quick-Fix, any other questions?? I’m not sure if you’re trying to dissuade me (and others from posts I’ve seen you direct towards people moving to LV), or if you’re just that.. you know what I won’t even go there. Lol I’ll be okay though thanks for your contribution

Vista Del Valle Apartments

(Over by the Palms/Rio casinos)

The neighborhood is decent, within 10 minutes to where Iíll be working (a casino on the strip), and the place offers some exclusive amenities (rent includes water/sewage/gas, which most places donít).
If that's your definition of a decent neighborhood, you could have chosen almost anywhere to live. You'll "meet" plenty of homeless people around Flamingo and chances are some of your neighbors will be hookers and pimps. But hey, its Vegas baby!

I drove around most of Las Vegas in the course of four days, even the worst parts of town in North Las Vegas. My sisters father, a Vegas resident of 20+ years, drove me through those parts to give me an idea of the “other side of Vegas”, and to put things into perspective of what can happen if I come there with the wrong intentions and work ethic. So when I say it’s a decent neighborhood, I mean that compared to some areas I saw it was a safe place to stay. A couple of people that live in the community said the same. Also, I grew up in a low income area my entire childhood, and for the most part have never lived in a suburban neighborhood. So while I obviously don’t want to stay in a dangerous or low quality living situation, I also would say that my tolerance level may be a bit different when it comes to dealing with somethings. But I haven’t signed a lease or anything yet, I just placed a refundable hold to get in the waiting list for the apartment becomes available (which I have been assured will be no issue). I have the option to move elsewhere, but I’m pretty certain that is the place I will rent for the first year.

I knew someone who lived there. It's okay. It's just okay. There is much worse available in Vegas.

I didn't know it was legal here until I visited in October. I bought some, and I was just stunned on how easy it was to buy. It made me want to move to Vegas, not just because weed is legal, but it shows they are not a close minded state like the southeast states. I live in SC and they didnt even legalize scratch off tickets until the early 2000s.
