I love this game, there's only one machine left and it's ancient so who knows how long they'll keep it running.

Used to play the one at High Sierra, Tahoe, but there were several others in Reno, and I think Harvey had one, too.

I recall seeing it at the Dunes where the D owner first played it. That was my standard place to stay coming here as a tourist, then the Plaza, which also had Sigma Derby. I might have played a time or two, but I saw the appeal of it. It didn't gobble up your money nearly as quickly as slots did.

Whoever wrote that article is a little late/not up to speed. The MGM got rid of their sigma derby machine about a year ago and it's been talked about online and known that the one at the D is the last one in Vegas.

It's also been discussed that there is one for sale on Ebay for $27,500 but was originally posted for much more a few months ago. I believe the starting price back then was $60k and it looks to be in amazing condition. Some people recommended Derek Stevens (owner of the D) buy this one and use it for parts since they are hard to come by but obviously that hasn't happened...yet. Hope the one at the D stays for a long time or whoever buys this one puts it in a casino in LV.

they have a newer version of that type of machine upstairs at the D now as well.

My inlaws loved it...complete with video screen and much nicer than the old sigma derby .
