Queensridge, for example, is a wonderful community. I lived there for 8 years and did not encounter any kids at all in the last 2 years. In fact, it seemed my wife and I were the only people to ever use our backyard there -- nobody ever bothered us from within and no crime aside from your typical neighborhood riff raff.
But beware..... I the golf course adjacent to Queensridge has closed, and how the land is to be sued has been the source of great controversy. Meanwhile, the former golf course looks pretty awful sitting right outside plenty of people's backyards.

Here is a 2016 article about the decision to close the golf course.

NJ is nearly as bad as Cali. You Jersey folks don't have the Marylanders beat, though. They passed their rain tax several years ago.

This is the new real estate scam all over the US, now. Sucker everyone in high dollar for the lots bordering the golf course, charge exorbitant fees for the golf club, then when the club goes insolvent, turn the golf course into Condos and sell those.

This is funny! It's like the Chihuahua who thought it was a Great Dane until someone showed it a mirror.

Thankfully the golf course situation is close to being resolved. The city has set aside $15 million dollars to purchase and restore the course. This is a great outcome for not only the residents of Queensridge, but for all of the western side of Las Vegas. The golf course will be even better than before and being city owned will ensure this never happens again. The course will he managed by OB Golf just like neighboring city course Angel Park.

Is the Southwest still "up and coming" whereas there's not a lot around. I really liked the newer affordable homes in Southwest, but know there's gotta be something too that low price.
