Every RC Willeys store has a clearance back room, where they keep their returned, scratched, discontinued items for sale, at a discount.

Shortly after moving here, I bought a 6 seat dining table, coffee table, sofa from Ashley. A year later the coffee table is falling apart, the sofa one of the cushions has broken open, The dining table never looked good. It is cheap crap, but I think what you see in the store, is better quality, than what they ship to your house. Stay away from brown furniture as it will show the dust, go grey or red. I have heard from locals that RC Willey is the best for appliances. Oh and it is just the 2 of us old people no kids, so we are not rough on furniture. Also, keep in mind wood drys out here so you may consider brass or metal.

Step 1. Get an Interior Designer's / Interior Decorator's license
Step 2. Buy at Interior Designer's prices for your own use.

I would never buy used furniture. You just don't know what people or their pets did to it. Yuk.

The sofa we bought was a standard clearance item. I could've order 5 of them, it came wrapped and brand new.

We won't have anything to upcycle as were moving across the country from jersey. Moving / shipping companies want to rape us and charge rediculous prices . Would be cheaper to just buy new furniture. Only thing we're going to ship via FEDEX is our TV since it's only 6 months old .

Thanks for the heads up on Ashley. I didn't know RC Willeys had appliences. I know there's a Sears Outlet in Henderson that has some good prices. I'll keep Willies in mind too. Thank you.
