Sure seems like more "smoke and mirrors" . . just another way to elude the fiscal discipline required to qualify for a home loan. This type of mentality is at least partly responsible for the current mortgage fiasco . . "free down money" and/or "lier loans" = "just walking away"!

At least with a sweat equity program the candidate has some "soul" invested.
