Went to take my 2 dogs on our nightly walk and when I return I see a stray dog coming out of my garage, first thing I notice is she looks starved rib cage is prominent, so I look at her collar and at first didn't realize her info was on the other side duhhh anyway I see her info and she lives right around the corner. Question should I take her back to her house and chew these people's asses which could be dangerous or take her to a vet tomorrow and let them sort it out. If she didn't live so close I'd keep her

If suspicious I would wait until Monday and then call Animal Control. In the interim you might look around to see if a hunt for the missing dog is on.

An emaciated dog may well be ill..Not badly cared for. But why get into the area of sorting that out?

Let Animal Control do it. They have experience with bad owners.
