I hear that Arizona is much better than Vegas for LA people.

If it actually gets out of control I would suspect the east side of Henderson and the County would be the place in trouble.

I would miss the perfect weather of L.A and the beach but not much else. I guess my question is if anyone here lives in Boulder city and how do you like it? I was also looking at the Mount Charleston area. Love pine trees lol. If anyone has any advice on those two areas it would be appreciated .
Definitely not! I looked at Boulder City back in 2005. A certain religious cult from Utah runs the town. Pretty views, no gambling is great but it is a bit far from anything. The opening of I-11 will help get rid of the the truck traffic, which is good.

Mormon neighbors are very polite and quiet - for the most part.

What commerce did Boulder City have prior to the opening of I-11? A lot of little antique stores and an A&W root beer place.

I avoid cults. Mormons think commoners are there to be used. Delusions of planetary gifting and worshippers becoming their own God's ought to be enough to keep anyone away, but that's anywhere you go.

Is I-11 open? The latest Google Earth photos are from 2017 show dirt paths where the traffic lanes will be (are?).

Is there any other big grocery store(s) other than a single Albertson's in Boulder City?

I'm considering possibly returning to live in the USA from overseas and had been focusing on NW Las Vegas, but this thread picqued my curiosity about Boulder City.

Very apt description! This line of thinking goes back to their delusions that they are a tribe of Israel, as if that matters in today's age?
