Default Childcare in Las Vegas

Just curious, how much does the average daycare provider earn at a preschool. My wife has 20+ years experience, the last 10 running a daycare out of our house.. With the impending move, she is wondering where to find work.

Our sitter is Licensed and works out of her home. I think she is only allowed like 6 kids, she just got inspected and right now she has around 7 kids, but three will be leaving in August to go to school. I pay $140.00 a week, which is a little lower then the other kids, because she has had my daughter since she was 6 weeks old. Right now I try to keep my daughter with me as much as possible. So I just pay 70 for at least 2 days a week. She does provide breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Not sure, but I think it is more then in home daycares. She was actually told by the state to raise her prices, so she could be comparable to daycares. She raised mine $10.00 a week. She has a large home in North Las Vegas, and has one room set off, and then the kitchen area and then outside. They really don't give her too much problems. Her sister also does it and is not licensed, but she has a lot smaller house, but still has a room set off for daycare. She charges a little less since she is not licensed.
