We all know what's going on here. The article looks at hourly wages not including tips. Dealers can do quite well, but when they do, the vast majority of the money they make comes from tips. The hourly wage is completely secondary.

What a joke. No dealer makes under $20/hour over time at all but the lowest end Las Vegas casinos. Those who are decent and dont **** customers off make $30-50/hour over time once they get to the higher end casinos. Plus the benefits are quite good.

Have you ever dealt? Not as easy as it may look. Did it for 7 years, made decent money, but not easy on an old persons body. Plus, dealing with public, especially when they’re losing and holding you accountable is not
so glamorous, especially when you can’t say what you’d like!

I dealt craps going table for table and to the best of anyone's knowledge yeah, that's right, we made $7.00/hr.
