I changed my mind about camping out. I'd have to get all new camping gear, the temperature is going to be around 100, there may be rattlesnakes, lack of proper bathroom facilities and tourist trap crowds have me thinking watching the livestream from home would be better.

Plus the military rapid fire going on. Naruto run is supposed to happen at 3 am on 9/20.

Haha! There's even an Alien Ho House out there if you want to clap them alien cheeks or get probed.

Yes. In the two times I've been to LV we've drove to Rachel, NV with the main goal to eat lunch at the Little A'Le'Inn restaurant. The first year we went, about seven or so years ago, there wasn't much else to see really. The Alien Research Center was closed the day we went. Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge didn't have the current visitors center. This past trip in April we stopped at the wildlife refuge. It is pretty interesting and a nice break. We also were able to checkout the Alien Research Center. It is just a bunch of sci-fi, mostly alien themed items. An employee was busy adding a lot of boxed merchandise to the racks and such, so I think they were getting ready for the busy summer travel season. Lunch at the Little A'Le'Inn was good. It is simple and reasonably priced. They also have a small corner of the store with trinkets and what not. The Sinclair gas station in Alamo has some small gift shops inside as well (they also offer food, and there is also an Alamo Diner that we've never been to). From where I'm from in flat, boring central Indiana, the drives on the Great Basin and Extraterrestrial Highways are very scenic.
