The homeless would rather sit back and laugh at us taxpayers picking up the tab for them, to the tune of $42.5K a year per homeless person. That's the national average. Most expenses come from Emergency Room visits, hospitalization, rehab, prescription drugs.

As for Bleu Dreu the 3B project was delayed to open in 2022 instead of 2020. Everything kind of got put off and reconfigured that end of the strip including Steve's Wynn project when that shake down occurred. Instead of a beach lagoon going in they're doing the golf course. Not sure how Resort World is coming along. Lucky Dragon also went belly up after a year.
As for the Blue Dreu that doesn't sound good at all, the long delay. As long as the economy is doing so well, I thought they'd be racing to complete it. Any time I hear of a long delay in construction, it signals to me they don't much faith in the economy continuing to do well. I get on SkyscraperPage.com often enough and they have a Las Vegas section, and from the looks of it, most recent photo's of Resorts World, they're really coming along quite well with it, A lot of glass installed from seeing the pictures. But there's no updates on Bleu Dreu. Also from the Las Vegas section is a 5 story apartment building in Symphony Park. It's about time!

There were no photo's of that big white elephant going up near Russel/I-15!

The owner bought Bleu Dreu from the money he got from the Trump tax cuts. Articles didn't list the reason for the delay but maybe he's waiting for his 2020 tax cuts in the reelection? If they don't get them it might sit and go up for sale again.

The Blazers play at the Moda Center but any fan who isnít like 9 years old knows itís called the Rose Garden and everyone still calls it that besides the radio, since they contractually have to honor the naming rights. Itís awful. What if one day they renamed Yankee Stadium to W.B Mason Stadium or Dunkin Donuts Stadium or something?! Iím not calling it that! Itís Yankee Stadium forever.

I call it the Strat. Just like most people I know. As for "veggies." I use that phrase a lot. Because I eat a lot of them. I don't like "vacay" because it sounds stupid.

Couple of decades ago we took my mother there for her 80th birthday. The Stratosphere did a wonderful job. Got us in through a side entrance and up to the rotating restaurant where we were well feed and well taken care of...We used a limo, Bell in fact, and that helped as he knew how it worked.

A recommendation for locals. If you have short stay local visitors use a limo. We always equip ours with the desired drinks and stop at a couple of places along the strip. You can control it from a couple of hours up and down the strip, to a bar crawl, to a dinner and drinks in many places. And most of the limo drivers are knowledgeable. May also work with the deluxe Lyft and Uber but we have not tried that yet.

And no one gets a DUI.
