Considering getting back to work. I cared for my mother for quite a few years until she passed away, went into a funk and have been moping at home ever since.

I do enjoy helping old people and didn't really realize that I kind of missed it until I helped an old guy off the ground in a parking lot the other day, bandaged him up a bit, so maybe I'm up for a lighter version of what I was doing for my mother (24/7/365 for seven years or so, it was rough). I see that a CPR course is required to work in home health care. I have no formal medical training, but did end up learning a lot over the years. Decent cook, as I owned a restaurant in another life (15 years ago).

Has anyone taken one recently that you'd recommend?

Default Appreciate recommendation

TY, but wanted to avoid them. Neg press, scandal in the last couple years, don't want to give them money, however small.

No knock on you, appreciate it.

In addition, it's always good to patronize a local small biz.

Use AHA to find a class. https://cpr.heart.org/AHAECC/CPRAndE...d-A-Course.jsp to find a class close to you. I personally don't care for the hybrid classes, i'd rather just go in and get the 4 hours over with. Do in person or hybrid, but avoid the the E-learning only course no matter the site-It wont be accepted by employers.

https://www.firstaidforfree.com no BS...I was red cross certified as a school bus driver, but this course was a great brush up. Some of the Red Cross online offerings are an embarrassment..
