Good - lots of entertainment and dining options. Compact county.

Bad - lots of druggies and people who are actually on the lower end of the social totem pole, in other words, lots of losers.

Good: The Las Vegas Knight's games are incredibly fun (and I barely know anything about hockey)!

My opinion based on living here for a little over one year:

The bad - drivers, education (I haven't seen anyone brag about the quality of education here), price of car insurance, homeless people in Vegas (especially on the East side)

The good - lots of activities and things to do

Bad - hookers/skanks on the street near Orleans Hotel and adjacent streets.
- Extreme dry weather makes you static when you touch things at home. kid used to play shock daddy on the arm.
- June through Sept. heat
- Gas prices should be lower and not resemble California's. Arizona gas prices don't.

Good - lots of people like to workout and easy driving off the strip.
- real estate still cheap
- low property taxes

Huh, always depends on perspective I guess. Car insurance is cheaper here than where I was from, drivers were much worse there too. The drivers here aren’t good though, I’ll agree with that, they’re fast which I like but they’re almost laughable terrible and I’m not sure why. California drivers are the best I’ve seen (and I hate CA), they’re both fast and good. OR drivers are slow and terrible, Vegas drivers are fast and terrible (which I prefer). June through September heat or whatever date range you choose is a plus to me not a con, I mean don’t move to the hottest desert in North America if you don’t like heat I guess? I love it! I can’t wait for 100+ every day, I’m so sick of this mediocre weather the last 3 weeks.

I haven't seen any hookers so far. Fricken hate the static electricity. I've made it a habit to not touch anything metal or fabric with my finger. I touch it with the knuckle side of my hand first. That "zzzzt" is just......ugghhh..

I grew up in the north east (go Patriots.....sorry to those who hate the Patriots) and moved to California in....2001 (?) then moved to the Philippines....now I'm back here....and I guess my body is hating me for being too exposed to the hot weather cuz I hate the cold. I don't mind it.....it's just not my favorite weather. lol I hear so many people complain about the heat in the summer and I'm like...why the f are you living in Vegas then....

It's hilarious how Vegas drivers make fun of the California drivers whenever we see California license plates.
