What do you guys/gals do during the extreme hot summer months in Las Vegas for fun?

Stay indoors with the AC and fans on? Go to indoor malls? Water park? Spend time lounging at the pool?

Stay indoor with fan or AC on. For fun, I go to an indoor mall and walk around. Pools are gonna be crowded and booking a hotel room can get very expensive.

Pool, binge on movies at theaters or at home. Early morning and late evening don't bother me, I stay out of the sun. I run errands and go from air conditioned car to air conditioned stores. Really, I love it here. I lived in SW Florida for 4 years and hated summer, 75 degree dew point, rain every day. Sweat like a pig every time you step out the door.

You need a pool. Works great water cooled.

I’ve enjoyed the heat the last week, never felt bad to me. I was driving around in it a lot, outside a lot, I must be missing something. It wasn’t very hot. I think some people are really sensitive to any degree of heat. There was one time it hit 110 or so the last 6 days and it was the only time I said, yeah, forget this I’m going back inside. The rest of the time I really enjoyed it. It’s so different we may as well forget about this measurement system. 105 here feels like 90 did back home. Hot but no big deal. I like 90 back home, I like 105 here.

If I had your dry heat, I’d probably do a lot more.

Pool is the best option here.

I also don’t use a/c in the car, because it helps me acclimatize. I grew up in Silicon Valley, so summer is a real punisher, and it helps to just use some exposure therapy.
